Q: How can I get my '01 Audi TT windshield washers to work again?
I have found out that the washers on my Audi TT for the headlights work but not for the windshield. Is there a certain sequence I have to perform in order to switch between the two washers or am I just lacking washer fluid?

A: you are quite possibly lacking washer fluid, only recently replaced mine, pop the bonnet and it should be on the left side, then again a warning light should have come on at some point to indicate that the fluid levels were low.

Q: What are the 4 screws around the top of the audi tt for?
Theres 4 little covers that if you move to the side reveal screws that you remove from the top of the audi tt. What are they for? Looks like theyre for removing the hard top but is that possible?

A: there is no magic number or near magic number were cars suddenly break . components are in a constant state of degradation and its up to the owner to be on top of it.with proper care the car can last several hundred thousand miles or more

Q: does the audi tt have a four seater for the convertible?
I am confused on the whole roadster and quattro thing, and I wanted to know if I could get a audi tt convertible that fit 4 people, or if it only fit two? also, is it cramped in the two seater audi tt?? my boyfriend is 6'4 and like 230pds. will he be uncomfortable driving it or being the passenger?

A: Looks like most of your question has already been answered. I own a TT convertible. I am 5' 6" and have no problems, but it does take some getting used to getting in and out because it is low. The doors are wide and I find I often have scuff marks on the inside caused by trying to swing my legs out without have space to fully open the door. My husband is 5' 11" and he does not like driving in it unless the top is down. He feels very claustrophobic. It is pretty small inside with the top up.

Q: Does the normal warranty for the Audi TT cover tires?
I am still under the 4 yeard 50,000 mile warranty with my Audi TT. The front tires are in need of replacement, does anyone know if tires are covered under the warranty? Thanks!

A: tires are not part of any warranty item.. just like brake pads, windshield wipers, gas, or oil. you use em you lose em

Q: What is the bolt pattern for a 2001 Audi tt coupe quattro?
someone told me they put aftermarket rims on their audi and they had problems with alignment until they installed some kind of center piece to the inside of the rim. Does anyone know about this? What is the bolt patter for a 2001 tt coupe quattro?

A: you might need a spacer depending on the dish of the wheel. I believe it is a six bolt pattern or I guess if you found some you really wanted the didnt come in the right pattern you would need a converter but that would be stupid just get some that fit the bolt pattern

The Audi TT has a minimalist, retro, Bauhaus inspired design that still looks like a concept car some six or so years after its release. Its a design classic. The new model, just unveiled, is a step backwards.

A: Totally agree. The TT definetly lost its edge I think. I was going to hold off on getting one to get the 2007 but after seeing it I'd much rather have the 06 model...

A: It is the Audi Automatic Climate Control button, Set the temp to whatever is comfortable and hit the "AUTO" button. The myriad of sensors will keep the interior of the vehicle at the preset temp.

Q: How do you set the clocks on an Audi TT?

A: your accord goes 0-60 in 6-9 to 7.1 1/4 mile at 15.5 seconds audi tt goes 0-60 in 6.2 to 6.4 1/4 mile in 14.6 seconds, his car will get you off the start since its awd plus his car is lighter then yours

Q: What is an alternative to the Audi TT that has 2 rows of seats?
I really want a car that looks JUST LIKE the Audi tt but I think that I am gonna need more than two seats. What is another car that has the same body style as the tt that will look really round and cute? I also need a car that will be better on insurance rates since I'm 16. Thanks

A: To begin, you will not be able to find any car that looks like the Audi TT. It is one-of-a-kind avant-garde design. If you're looking for cute and round and not necessarily concerned with the driving experience, then the Volkswagen Beetle is equally cute and round. It is also a two door and available as a convertible. However, it is not a sports car nor as powerful, so it will be a lot less to insure. Unfortunately, its reliability is questionable so I cannot recommend it without reservations. A Mini Cooper might also be a reasonable alternative, and it will be more reliable and fuel efficient. I'm not sure if you're open to hatchbacks, but it too is available as a convertible. These three cars are really the only ones I can think of that meet your criteria.

Q: What does the ESP button do on an Audi TT?
I have an ESP button on my dashboard of a 2002 Audi TT and have no idea what it does! I think it might have something to do with traction control but am unsure.

A: When piloting an Audi TT if you enter a corner too fast for road conditions (wet or snow or mud) and suddenly let off the gas to slow yourself down (which is what most people do) you will experince oversteer. This simply means the back end of the car will slid out and point the car sharply into the corner as the front end trys to swap places with the rear end. ESP will try to save you by electronically applying individual brakes to individual wheels to get the TT pointing the right way.

Q: can the 2000 Audi TT roll down the windows from the remote/key?
I saw this on both an infiniti G35, and an older BMW. So can the audi TT roll down the windows from the "door lock" or remote fob? Thanks.

A: Try putting the key into lock and turn let and hold it. If you do the same thing, but turn it right, it will raise the windows. Hope this worked!

Q: What should i get? Infiniti G35 Coupe or Audi TT Coupe both are 03s?
I love the Infiniti G35 coupe but the Audi TT is AWD and smaller. I dont know what to get please help. Any advice would be good.

A: The G35 is much better, unless you live somewhere that it snows often you don't really need AWD. The TT has no advantages over the G35 except that it is rarer, so a bit more unique in a sense. The quality of Infiniti is superior to that of Audi and the resale value of the G35 coupe is excellent.
